Edition #4: Soul Longing & some other great content

Social Media has been quiet on my end and it feels good this way. To be honest, first, I wanted to stop using Instagram with resentment, as Instagram changed its algorithm and the view rate on my posts shrank by about 70%. This created some frustration, it highlighted the dependency and the brought up the question if this is what I want?

Luckily, I'm not completely dependent on it, I have a choice and my choice (at least for this phase) is not to focus so much energy and attention on it.

On the other hand, I also enjoy the peace of not being surrounded by so many different ideas, quotes, opinions, programs, and whatever else is shared on Instagram.

It feels like I can suddenly take a deep breath again.

And that is something my soul longed for, to have more peace. Especially in this phase of my life. Right now, I'm taking it slow, focusing on ongoing Breathwork training, a few private clients, my health and my relationship.

AND there is still some space for new private clients. I have a new and affordable service, called Souls Knowing. It is about establishing a relationship with the soul. We will activate different qualities, explore various practices and weekly contemplations to build this connection that has the potential to create so much more clarity and depth in life.

Care of the Soul - Thomas Moore

This book describes on the one hand the basics of what a soul is or can be, and on the other hand, contains orientation aids. Fifteen years of professional experience as a psychotherapist have been incorporated. Thomas Moore explains myths of the family, childhood, narcissism, he turns to the subject of love and finds the link between soul and power via envy and jealousy. Depression, the importance of work, money, setbacks and creativity follow. The necessity of rituals and spiritual life. The role of beauty and so much more. It is great read, easy to comprehend and new perspective on some of the above topics.

A Global Fertility Crisis - Dr. Shanna Swan and After Skool

I recently heard that men in their 30s today have the same testosterone levels on average as a 60-year-old man in the 1980s. Isn't that crazy?

That made me curious about this epidemic and I found Dr. Shanna Swan, a scientist who is studying this decline for over 20 years. She was on many different well-known podcasts (among others Joe Rogan) and this short video is a summary of what is going on, why it is happening and what we can do.

Quote

“We think that changes in ourselves can come about in time, that order in ourselves can be built up little by little, added to day by day. But time doesn’t bring order or peace, so we must stop thinking in terms of gradualness. This means that there is no tomorrow for us to be peaceful in. We have to be orderly on the instant.”
